STUDY TIPS FOR LEARNING A MODERN LANGUAGE

The goal of studying French is to be able to communicate in that language.  The path to proficiency can be fun, but it can also be very frustrating if you are not doing the right type of preparation.  Learning a language is a cumulative process.  It is perfectly normal to feel you are coming along at a slow pace. Here are some points that are essential for learning a foreign language.

 Be patient and have a positive attitude!

 Participate in class! You will sing and dance with Escargot (the snail)  Everyone makes mistakes, just keep on trying!
